Outside the classroom
The wide range of activities offered in the younger years is enhanced with new activities as you join the GCSE programme. You will have the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities. Past trips and expeditions have taken in destinations including Ethiopia, Russia and Peru. The CCF and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme remain popular options.
There are lectures in subjects such as Law and Economics and the chance to take part in the Model United Nations and Chamber Choir. Some of these activities are run jointly with the Sixth Form, creating further opportunities to develop your interest in subjects, leadership skills within the Competitive House system and to undertake service, both locally and further afield.
Many girls continue to develop their involvement and skills in sport, music, drama and dance, taking increasingly senior positions in teams, ensembles and theatrical productions. Varied and stimulating trips are a real feature of the Middle School and Sixth Form.
