Activities

Boarding at Headington Rye Oxford makes it much easier to play a full part in the huge range of extra-curricular activities on offer.

There are more than 120 activities available to all girls each week, covering the Creative Arts, Sport, Leadership and Adventure, Dance, Drama, Music and Academic Enrichment.

As well as being able to sign up for these, which take place before, during and after the normal school day, there is a whole host of special activities for boarders. These range from simple craft activities in house, to designated boarder access to our Dance and Fitness Centre and Swimming Pool. There are regular trips to everywhere from trampolining parks to cultural excursions and social events with other schools.

We want girls to be able to take part in as much of school life as possible, so if our weekly boarders want to stay for events and activities over the weekend we can arrange for them to stay extra nights.
