Welcome to our Sixth Form
The Sixth Form at Headington Rye Oxford is the culmination of your school career. Here you can enjoy two years studying your chosen subjects, learn to organise your work and leisure time, pursue your interests, lead the school community and plan your future. You will be encouraged to develop independence together with a sense of responsibility and growing self-confidence.
The Sixth Form at Headington Rye Oxford is an excellent foundation for the complete independence demanded by university education. Students entering the Sixth Form develop an adult working relationship with the teaching staff, who value their Sixth Form teaching and students very highly.
Exam Results 2025
Our academic results are outstanding – 57 per cent were graded A* or A and more than eight out of ten were A*-B. Last year’s Year 13 are now embarking on a wide range of Higher Education courses ranging from Midwifery and Medicine, to Fashion Pattern Cutting and Television and Film Production. However, Headington Rye Oxford offers much more than excellent examination results. We will help you learn to manage your time and workload, enabling you to maximise your enjoyment of all the School has to offer you. We will support you in planning your future in an atmosphere of friendship and trust.
