Beyond the classroom
What goes on in the classroom is just a taste of academic life at Headington Rye Oxford.
From the day she joins the School, your daughter will be able to benefit from an exciting and varied range of academic clubs and societies, from help clubs and clinics in virtually every subject, to the chance to study for an extra GCSE in Astronomy, to debating in both English and French. Your daughter will be limited only by how she chooses to spend her time.
Budding writers can flex their skills working on publications focusing on Journalism, Creative Writing, Economics, Languages or Geography. Keen coders can develop their skills in our Coder Dojo then put those skills into action, building and programming a robot from scratch in our Student Robotics club.
We draw on inspirational speakers from the city’s two universities, the University of Oxford and Oxford Brookes University. We invite in academics and researchers working on truly ground-breaking projects to share their knowledge, ideas and passion.
