Where you go to Sixth Form is such an important choice, you don’t want to feel you have made the wrong decision. It’s really nice to have your own space and have the feel that it’s more of a college environment rather than part of school.
Georgie, Head Girl 2019
Headington has given me more opportunities than I could have imagined. I have found out what I enjoy, learned a lot, made good friendships and realised what I would like to do in the future.
Katia, Lower Sixth Prefect
Headington is brilliant. I would nowhere near be the person I am today if it wasn’t for the School. I am so pleased my parents chose Headington. It is just wonderful here and I am so happy.
Emily, Head Girl 2018
The range of girls benefitting from life at Headington is huge – this really struck me when I arrived. The School offers lots of opportunities to a really diverse set of girls – from different cultural backgrounds, and with different interests.
Katya, Head of Day 2018
A lot of the work here is independent research and independent learning – that’s what I’m going to be doing at uni so it’s great preparation for that.
Blanche, Lower Sixth 2018
The support system at Headington is phenomenal. The Pastoral Director, the subject leaders and the house staff are amazing.
Samantha, Head of Boarding 2018
There is always something happening in the Sixth Form. Whether it's quiz nights, movie nights or societies running at lunchtime, Headington VI is a hub of activity. Being a prefect is a fantastic ability to take on more responsibility in school and I thoroughly enjoyed my time as Head of Day. Not only did I gain large amounts of confidence I also enjoyed having the ability to offer guidance to the younger students and working closely with members of staff.
Alexia, Head of Day 2020
We are encouraged to do what we want to do because that’s what you will enjoy and what you will be good at. One of the things the School has cracked is that the more you are yourself, the better you will do and if you put your mind to it, you can do anything.
