Mind, body and spirit

Beyond the classroom, there are over 150 clubs and activities to choose from.

You can enhance your academic skills, explore your creative side or find fun ways to keep fit and healthy.

There are plenty of leadership opportunities too, from becoming a prefect to setting up and running your own club.

Uniquely to the Sixth Form, you can also expect to hear inspirational speakers from Oxford’s two universities give talks, for example on STEM, Politics or Philosophy, and take part in collaborative drama productions, debating, academic enrichment and social events with local boys’ schools.

Clubs and societies include:

Maths Challenge Club • Literary Society • Amnesty • FemSoc • Philosophy Café • Pilates • Spinning • Rowing • Drama • Dance Academy • Model United Nations

In the Sixth Form you don’t just take part in extra-curricular activities, you can lead them.

Katia, Lower Sixth

I’m someone who likes to be busy and I just love experiencing different things. Equally, someone who wants to concentrate on one or two activities, there’s no judgement, they can do that too.

Teresa, Head of Day 2019
